Pros and cons of Astronomy Picture of the Day app for iPhone and iPad
Astronomy Picture of the Day app good for
This app is almost perfect. The only missing thing is the auto-hiding of menus to enjoy full screen pictures.
Wonderful pics.
Many informations about sky and photography.
An everyday not be missed!
Great images. I have been using the site for quite a while now and having the images delivered this way is just way better!
An inspiring app for really exteding your horizon; should you not yet or already have experienced your fascination for astro(physics/)nomy or just the beauty of some corners, that our observable universe contains, this gadget might be an impulse...set warp 9 & engage!
How to make your day, every day. I love this app! Useful info and the beauty of the universe.
Very easy to use and maintains the amazing APOD picture quality. Plus its free!!!
Some bad moments
Since last update, there is no landscape display mode. Tested on iPad 2 Wifi 64 Go. Please correct the bug. Thanks.
Very often pics cant be shown as the are "too big" so, the onl thing this app should do is showing the pic and it cant. very bad...
Only one star for dropping compatibility to my iPad 1 and yet nagging about an upgrade in the app store.
Basic function as viewer is good. The resolution of the photos is less than the screen resolution. Saved is the small picture.
Comes out very small and very blurry when saved to your iPod.
until todays upgrade which causes the app to now crash when loading. Dont upgrade!
